Starting at a cool $83,000 base price, one of the more modest looking SUVs on this list still doesn’t come cheap, but if you’ve got the money and need a practical but great looking ride for the family, you could do a lot worse. Given that it’s a Lexus, the name alone will earn some kudos from your peers. It’s the SUV’s features, including a 5.7-litre, 383 hp V-8 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and integrated navigation system, as well as a plethora of air bags to keep you and the family safe, that are this vehicle's selling points. Beyond that, hitting 0-60 miles per hour in less than seven seconds certainly doesn’t hurt either for when you are out cruising on your own.
