Who is Celina Dion?

On March 30, 1968, in the small village of Charlemagne, Québec, located 50 kilometers from Montréal, Celine Dion was born. She was Thérèse Tanguay and Adhémar Dion’s fourteenth child. On Michel Jasmin’s chat show on June 19, 1981, Celine Dion performed for the first time on television. The Quebec audience took to her right away.

Dion has won several honors and recognition worldwide, including five Grammy Awards, twelve World Music Awards, and seven Billboard Music Awards.
